Yesterday was the first day I did not post in over two months. It seems I’ve run into something of ….
an emotional dead end….
I can’t seem to think straight…
I try to work and it feels like I’m going nowhere…
All this is to say I’m not sure when I’ll be back posting regularly -
Maybe I’ll know more when I take the train next week….
to see my new psychiatrist….
So, as I focus more on my mental health, please peruse the Necessary Therapy files. See if you can diagnose yourself. I’ll be back before you can say, “It’s all my mother’s fault.”

We all reach the end of our creative ropes from time to time. Sometimes I stare at my computer. I call it “the tyranny of the blank screen”. It is disconcerting to be this addicted to blogging and have nothing to blog.
But that you were able post anything in your miasmic state says something.
I’ve missed you. I’ve noticed your absence. Then again, I’ve not been around much either. Like you, I’ve been treading water in the kiddie pool myself. The shallow end offers new reprieve. Life is a daily struggle and on any given day, it’s tough.
No one is absolved from experiencing grandiose difficulties in life, I don’t care how devout you are. Billy Graham has known abject pain in life. Pick a Pope…any pope and he won’t be any different. We’re all errant human beings and all in possession of a moral rap sheet.
So you owe no one an apology. No explanation. Life will go on without a daily dose of Pistol Pete…it just won’t seem as cohesive.
Fight for wellness Pete. It’s in your grasp.

The Pistol fires back: My new p-doc appointment is in just 3 days. If I can get over the shock of the sticker price, I hope to be back shortly after that.
i too have been lacking on the regular posts due to time issues and the simple lack of remembering i even have a blog sometimes…just don’t quit altogether like some good blogs have done
